Celebrate athletic and academic excellence with our proud Thunderbirds community at the 2023 KPMG Thunderbird Scholarship Breakfast. Since it began in 1999, the breakfast has been the paramount fundraising event for UBC Athletics, raising more than $13,500,000 for student-athlete scholarships and awards.
The funds raised help our UBC programs attract the top athletic talent, and create championship winning teams. UBC Athletics holds the prestigious title as the most successful varsity program in Canada, and it is thanks to the support from events such as the KPMG Thunderbird Scholarship Breakfast, that we are able to maintain this distinction.
The university has once again committed to matching proceeds from the ticket sales dollar for dollar, creating an opportunity for you to make a powerful impact. Your support enables talented, high-achieving student-athletes to follow their passions while earning a world-class education.

The KPMG Thunderbird Scholarship Breakfast will once again feature an online auction!
Win exceptional prizes and once-in-a-lifetime experiences like coaching a UBC Men’s Basketball game, a one week stay in Nuevo Vallarta or a Langara Fishing Adventures trip.
Bidding will close Wednesday, March 29th at 8 am. All proceeds from auction items will go directly to the teams.
